Precise Performance was founded by Jake Yarranton in 2018. Jake has been fitting bikes and supporting riders since 2010 so he has a wealth of experience across all riding levels and disciplines. The first step is always a Biomechanical Analysis and Functional Movement Analysis. Whether you are an adult or a child, if you’re looking to run faster or are injured, if you are recovering from surgery or looking for neuro-rehab, the first thing we do is analyse your movements so we can work out what the problem is. We video you moving, then play the videos back to you in slow motion to show you what is likely to be causing the problems or just slowing you down. Sweat Testing

We'd wager that you don’t pay much attention to your sweat loss during exercise? But you should. It's crucial to your performance. Rather incredibly, the amount of sweat /sodium lost can vary up to 15 times between seemingly similar individuals. Everyone loses a different amount of sodium in their sweat, from as little as 200mg per litre of sweat, to as much as 2,000mg/l - this is largely genetically determined. This means that a 'one-size-fits-all', off the shelf approach doesn't work when it comes to hydration. We offer a personalised hydration plan and a mix of products that meet your individual needs. Blood Lactate Testing

A test for individuals who want to optimise the effectiveness and efficiency of their training. Your Lactate Threshold will determine your performance ability in endurance events. The Lactate Threshold refers to the point during intense exercise where lactate builds up more quickly than it can be removed from the system. It is one of the most effectively used physiological markers of performance. Utilising the lactate threshold to determine training zones can greatly improve endurance performance.

Hire of Smart bike, treadmill and weights

We will have a Kickr Smart Bike, Treadmill and weights area for individuals to hire. So if you don’t have your own set up at home, or don’t like the gym then this is for you! It is also a great area to meet your coach and look at performance, testing etc
